38th Annual Sand Sculpture Contest - Siesta Key, Florida

Come out this Saturday, May 1 at 8:30 a.m. to Siesta Key Public Beach at 948 Beach Road to experience the 38th Annual Sand Sculpture Contest. Children and adults compete in various categories for cash prizes. This free event is co-sponsored by Sarasota County and the Pelican Press. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with sculpting lasting until 1 p.m. Prizes awarded for the best sculptures in categories including People's Choice. So come and build your own sand sculpture or vote for your favorite.
